Exercise is performed with a power ball and rope or any device that safely ties to the power ball. The action is similar to that of throwing a hammer in Track and Field. Benefits include rotational flexibility, range of motion through all planes, transfer of weight from leg to leg while implement circles body!

Sports benefiting from exercise include any which require core strength through upper and lower body separation. Some examples include Golf, Baseball, Tennis, Racquetball, Swimming, Basketball.
Be sure to train both dominant and non-dominant sides. When exercise becomes easy, move weight up slightly then progress to unbalanced surface (I.E. Reebok Core Board) then to eyes closed drills. Have fun with this one as you get so good that vision is secondary to balance. You will notice that if you train long enough with eyes closed and return to performing with eyes open again, your balance is much better than when you started! Adaptation is amazing in the human body isn’t it? Read more…
